SMD is sponsoring a Mosotho top athlete, Mr. Khoarahlane Seutloali ahead of the Paris Olympics

On the 28th March 2022, Storm Mountain Diamonds awarded a sponsorship to a Mosotho top athlete, Mr. Khoarahlane Seutloali ahead of the Paris Olympics. Mr Seutloali participated in the Tokyo Olympics in August 2021 and was sponsored by Kao Mine.

The initial sponsorship amount is LSL 200 000.00 and is meant to assist Mr Seutloali in meeting his training needs, attending preparatory marathons and to meet his daily needs. This is all done in preparation for the Paris Olympics whereby we believe that through this sponsorship, Mr Seutloali will be able to focus his energy and attention on his training and therefore qualify for the Paris Olympics. The LSL 200 000.00 is the initial sponsorship to meet his immediate training needs and more shall be disbursed at a later stage.

The event was graced by the chairperson of Federation of Athletics Lesotho, Mr. Tseliso Pheta, Lesotho National Olympics Chairperson, Mr. Tlali Rampoona, Hon Minister of Mining, Mr. Serialong Qoo and Hon Minister of Gender, Youth, Sports and Recreation, Mrs. Likeleli Tampane.
